Youth Referee Program
This Program was put in place to provide our youth the opportunity to give back to their community and for those individuals who may be interested in refereeing now and/or in the future.
The guidelines for this program follow:
- Must be between the age of 14-18 and living within Souderton School District
- Understand this is a volunteer position
- Have at least some knowledge of the game of basketball (playing experience a plus)
- Complete referee training – provided by PIAA Officials
- Complete and Sign Volunteer Affidavit
- Complete and Sign Parental Consent Form & Photo Release
- Complete PA Child Abuse History Clearance
The Youth Referees will be refereeing the Boys/Girls 7-8 Leagues only. Youth Referees will be paired with a Parent Coach throughout the game.
Referee training will be provided and will be scheduled accordingly.
