A) YES! Please, register and pay online. First time SHYBA players must register online and upload a digital copy of the new player's birth certificate.
Q) Can I register online if I am not paying with credit card?
A) No! All online registration must be paid by credit or debit card. If this is a hardship for you, please email Alison Ferriola @alisonferriola@yahoo.com
Q) Are there instances when a refund may be given after a player is registered?
A) The SHYBA refund policy is as follows:
Refund Policy
All requests for refunds must go to the SHYBA President, Alison Ferriola (registration@shyba.org), who will review the request on a case-by-case basis and approve or not approve based on the criteria below. The refund will be given through the online payment system back to the credit card, or by check upon request.
The SHYBA refund policy is the following:
- 100% if player withdraws prior to league draft day
- 100% if injured prior to start of regular season
- 100% if a health and safety plan changes at any point before the start of the season, and your player is no longer able to compete.
No refunds are given in the following cases:
- No refund is given if player tries out for a SHYBA travel team, and doesn’t make it, and elects not to play in intramural league.
- SHYBA strongly encourages the player to participate in the intramural league. The reason for no refund is that SHYBA plans and commits to league counts based on enrollment and if the player backs out, the org is left to pay league fees that need to be covered for that spot.
- No refund is given if the request is received after the draft.
Q) What teams qualify for sibling discounts?
A) There are no sibling discounts this year. There is a family maximum of $425 per family.
If you have any other questions about enrollment, please contact Alison Ferriola - SHYBA President - alisonferriola@yahoo.com
Q) How old should my player be for each league?
A) Players should register for the age level that matches their age on or before August 31, 2024.
